graphics card in registry problem
system:
xp 2300+ 512mb ddr ram Asus A7V8X MoBo WAS geforce 4 ti 4600 Now is radeon 9800 pro Standard High End Dell Monitor windows xp pro OS used a reg cleaner to get rid of any nvidia drivers lingering as i had problems with ATI driver installation. i uninstalled all graphics drivers and rebooted, then it didn't detect the hardware anymore so i went to manually install it, the error i got was "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)". my question is "where in the registry do i go to hard delete this info from windows, so i can re-install my graphics card" please help. |
