I want to put Red Hat 9 Linux on, so i dual booted it
with WinXP. However it installed a program called Grub bootlog. I had problems with Red hat so i deleted the parition, thinking it would solve my problems. Now all i get when i boot up is the word "GRUB". How Can i get back in to WinXP? How do i put a new Bootlog in? Email URL . |

Also, a quick fix is to boot your XP CD, run the recovery console and enter the command "fixboot".
A clip from: http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/fhas...stall_grub.html In Windows XP, you can uninstall GRUB as follows: Boot from the Windows XP CD and press the "R" key during the setup in order to start the Recovery Console. Select your Windows XP installation from the list and enter the administrator password. At the input prompt, enter the command "FIXMBR" and confirm the query with "y". The MBR will be rewritten and GRUB will be uninstalled. Press "exit" to reboot the computer. Please post your results |
