Which OS? Which browser? Which version of Java?
I had a problem similar to this once on Windows XP, IE6, and Sun Java (any version). It was the Lotus Domino web client for email and the java applets would not work - even with the latest version of Java installed. Turned out the Lotus developed their client based off of MS java and not Sun Java. Because MS does not distribute java vm any longer, I had to go find a copy on the net. Once I installed it, everything worked great. |

Try microsoft java. It is no longer available for download from microsoft, so you will have to google for it.

Are you sure java's the problem? View the page source (or maybe just post it here if it's not too long) and see what the missing object is.
