Help with PC Adminstrator Status - i need full control
I want to install Norton Antivirus, but need to uninstall AVG. Thus i found i don't have "sufficient administrative rights" (for uninstillation). I thought i was the only user on my laptop PC! it turns out there exists a "TrustedInstaller" with full control. how do i get delete this trustedinstaller, also gaining full control over my system?

If it's even possible, you don't delete that. It's an important system account.

Which Windows? Have you tried logging in as Administrator? Using safe mode?

Another guess, if you're on vista or newer try navigating to the uninstall program executable in windows explorer, right-click and "run as administrator".

TrustedInstaller is common in Vista and 7, i think it's a system component that needs not to be deleted, alter any files or whatsoever. What I could suggest is try using revouninstaller software to remove AVG. Just google it, they offer a free trial version.
