How can I get these programs to run on Windows 7 (64bit)

How can I get these programs to run on Windows 7 (64bit)
Probably a bit of a noob question but how can I get these dos files to run on Windows 64bit home premium with out the use of dosbox?

All of the programs are on win4sports .coms website and are DOS files I believe.

All of the files I require to run are on there.

Thanks in adavance for any help you can provide.

I just get an error message. It surprises me there is so little available for running these. Yeah I know, that site is horrific, I think 12 year old computing students could do a better job.

I have to agree, if it's a 16-bit program, Windows 7 64-bit simply isn't designed to run that. I've heard of some people being able to re-write the programming for the game utilizing Microsoft's Application Compatibility Manger; after that it would work. That's a little beyond my scope though. For most games like that I've had to use dosbox myself.

edit: should read Windows 7 64-bit

I believe the problem is the x64 part. Win64 just isn't written to support 16-bit applications. Meanwhile Win32 should handle them fine.

If windows 7 xp mode is available for your version of w7, I believe the XP you get in the VM is 32bit even on a 64bit host system.
