I have this problem with Windows Explorer.

When ever I open it, it also opens Yahoo messenger along with it? Have anyone had this kind of trouble before?

try going to add remove programs remove the yahoo companion toolbar, and yahoo mail, dont need them anyway, the companion bar is probably launching the messenger for some reason.
