Why does IE re-open tabs after I close them??
If I close a tab using Ctrl+W before it finishes loading, IE will some times re-open that tab as a new window...over and over as I close and re-close it.
Doesn't matter what the site is.
This happens on every Windows computer I've used starting with IE 8 on through 9. Never happened with IE 7.
I have a job where I have to continually check sites over and over so I often can't wait for one to finish loading that last line of code before I move on to the next one. This happens about once every 25 pages (guestimating) but when you view thousands of pages per day it can get seriously annoying.
Is this a bug or just another "feature" of IE I can turn off somewhere?

I've never heard of that happening before, but if it only happens once every 25 pages then I'm assuming it's not an intended feature.
