I have a Windows 2000 Advanced Server running IIS 5.0.
The webservers, and only the webserver crash from time to time. It can vary from 30 minnutes to 3-4 hours. I've "fixed" the problem running Apache instead (better for me, worse for the company I work for at the moment). The computer have def. been hacked, and I've know where they came inn and stoped that. But it still stops the webserver.... Any ideas about what it can be, and what I can do to stop this? |

IIS 5.0 Webserver crash
You should start by looking at your log files, capturing any errors, security permissions, deleting the pagefile.sys, uninstall and reinstall IIS, look for any suspicious *.exe's.
