iis dosesn't work

Hi,
I have installed iis on my pc but when i try to test my web srvices by typing the following address in windows explorer:
' http//mypcname/localstart.asp '
i get the message that 'page cannot be displayed'
I also want to mention that when i open iis through mmc , it shows my system/pc name but there are no icons for Default FTP Site, Default Web Site and Default SMTP Virtual Server'

Can someone help me with this problem.
