IIS, intranet
I just want to knowif i got the idea of intranet and iis right. also got a couple of question. and i'm a newbie.
Just a general idea. there's a local network. intranet. I install IIS on one computer. assign root password. then add users? Do other computers access it through ftp? or do i have to install iis on each of them. or some other way. thanks |

You can use FTP over a network, and certainly don't have to install IIS on every computer unless you want every computer to be able to serve the websites (through http) and accept uploads (through ftp).
