Images on internet browsers

some sites i go to, i know the images are there, becos ive asked other people, but they won't display for me
ive tried clearing my temporary internet files, but that won't fix it, so what shud I do to fix this?

it's nowhere near as good as norton, but it works well enough for me
im using IE 6, and im running windows 98

iv had this computer for almost a year now, and this only just started happening today...

hmm. not sure

i found on my norton firewall, with ad blocking enabled it thought some pics were ads and disabled them.....

oh well! sorry i can't be of more help

i decided to do the most obvious thing, while i waited for a reply, and that seemed to have worked...
all i did is restart my computer
lol
