Internet Explorer 6.0 related problem
I need help!
Somehow and from somewhere an 'alien' web address gets inserted into my 'Home' web address (Tools/Internet Options/Home page). How is this happening and how can I cure it permanently? Where is it coming from? is it in a file somewhere on my system. Also I have another problem. When I boot my PC I get a 'pop-up' window appearing on my desktop. Where has it come from? How do I get rid of it? etc.... These problems are driving me nuts !!! Thanks for the help (in anticipation). Dave (UK) Operating System=Windows 98 SE Browser=Explorer 6.0.2800.1106 |

Try getting spybot or adaware and scan your computer for spyware programs. You can get spybot from http://security.kolla.de

could also be a virus, like a j/s seeker, if the spyware tools recommended above dont fix you up, try a online virus scan like panda, housecall, or rav.
