internet sharing

Hi,
I have a DSL connection for internet at home and 2 other computers (b & c) running winXP and win98 respectively connected to it. I ran the XP network configuration tool on each of the machines for sharing internet.
Right now, I have a fully functioning network but without internet. The client machines are alloted IPs dynamically can also share files as well as ping but unable to connect to the net from the other machines.

The net connection is configured to be shared for other client machines too.
can anyone pl tell me if theres anything else to be configured??

I installed winproxy and I could access internet from all the client machines but now am facing a different problem with winproxy freezing my machine..

I still prefer very much to use windows ICS but it just doesnt seem to work..

thnx in adv,

sg

internet

first go to start, on the pc with the internet connection, go to start, then connect to, show all connections, or in control panel, network connections, on your icon for your internet connection, right click, go to properties, go to advanced, remove the check from internet connection firewall and apply it will warn you, but that firewall sucks anyway so turn it off, then on the same page put a check in allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection, click ok, should fix you right up.

1 more thing

on the 98 right click the internet explorer, select properties, then the connections tab, click the setup tab, then connect to the internet, set up connection manually, connect using a broadband modem that is always on, the bottom choice, next set up mail if you wish, may have to do the same on xp, sometimes it autodetects.
