Limited Accounts

I am trying to write a game, which will have a high score table, where can i store it, before windows xp's limited user accounts i could easily store it in the program directory, now i can't!

The all users directory in documents and settings only allows a file to be edited by the user who created it, so i can't store it there, and i can't put it in the registry because limited user accounts only have read access to it.

Is there anywhere else i can store it, or is there an api call that i can use when the program is installed to give access to all users to a particular file.

Hope you can help

Set the program directory's permissions at installation. Allow the user's group to modify files. The program itself will have to be installed by a power user.

I may be talkin out my arse, but I think most XP users have root priviledges anyway, and I can't think of anywhere else other than the program directory for long term program data.
