Maxtor HD install problems
I recently bought a Maxtor 40GB HD at Staples. The dude at tech support told me just plug everything in and Windows 2000 Pro will help me partition and format the new drive. However before I can do anything after it boots I get a blue screen about a page fault in an upaged area...What could be the cause? Maxtor says they've never heard of the error before. Which probably means they haven't figured out the solution yet...Thanks, Rob

Solution
After gettin all P-Oed I took it back and got another...Voila, with 2000 Pro it took about 10 minutes before I was able to start fillin it up. Rob
