Microsoft NT variant: flushing the metadata and invalidating the read cache
Hello,
Does anyone know of a method to invalidate the read cache so no metadata will be stored (windows 2003)? In visual C++, I am already calling flushBuffers and creating my files with the FLAG_FILE_NO_BUFFERING flag but it seems as if the OS itself is still caching. Thanks, Yossi |
