Multi internet connections via one ISP
Hi there,
I seriously need some help here! I am connected to the internet via an ISP. However, I have several computers that I would want to connect to the internet, thus, I am trying to create a virtual private network or whatever it is called. I have my computer set up as the main computer, directly connecting to the ISP. and I want other computers in my house to connect to the internet using my connection. I have the IP 192.168.0.1 and use that also as the gateway for other computers to connect. I am also using a hub that connects every single computer in my house. I have check the "enable internet connection sharing for this connection". I am running windowsNT 2000 Thanks for any help! Geekoid |

You can also install a proxy on the machine you have connected to the net. I use AnalogX and have been quite happy with it. You then have to go into your IE/Netscape connection setup and tell it to use the proxy address of your net connected machine as well as the AnalogX port. Works even with non-Windows machines.
