newly built pc cant install anything?

Ok we built a new pc the bios is working but it only boots so far it wont let me install anything not even an os?It dont even get to the verifying dmi datapool?
It stops at booting drive yadda checks ok then stops doing anything?

can you boot from floppy or cd? If so just do it and install os, whats the problem?

Ok, you are saying it will not get to the verifying dmi pool screen? what are your system specs, especially which motherboard do you have. Also, how long are you waiting, I want to know if its appears to hault or if it is extremely delayed. Of course remove any non-essential system components (read: disconnect all drives, all cards except for video ) and boot, and set the bios to Defaults and see if it will boot .. Well post with more info and we will try to help ..
