no sound with upgrade to XP Pro
Upgraded from xp home to pro and now have no sound. I have the cmi 8738/c3dx pci audio device chip on the motherboard.
Device manager under sounds shows everything is ok and working. Volume is maxed and no mute. Tried re-installing original cmedia drivers - no use Help please!!! Thanks
