override domain IP

I changed the DNS on my network solutions domain name over 4 days ago. It still hasn't propagated to my computer, although it has for others. I'd imagine the problem is with my ISP. I'm on a Windows 2000 computer. Is there anyway I can trick it into thinking that domain.com is 222.22.222.222 when right now it thinks the IP is 111.11.111.111?

THANKS!

What is it with ISPs not updating their DNS servers regularly?

You can manually add an entry in your `hosts` file. You can find it in `C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc` (just where you'd look for it right?) There are instructions within the file.

I would think an entry in your hosts file such as:

222.22.222.222 domain.com

would work just fine
