override domain IP
I changed the DNS on my network solutions domain name over 4 days ago. It still hasn't propagated to my computer, although it has for others. I'd imagine the problem is with my ISP. I'm on a Windows 2000 computer. Is there anyway I can trick it into thinking that domain.com is 222.22.222.222 when right now it thinks the IP is 111.11.111.111?
THANKS! |

What is it with ISPs not updating their DNS servers regularly?
You can manually add an entry in your `hosts` file. You can find it in `C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc` (just where you'd look for it right?) There are instructions within the file. |

I would think an entry in your hosts file such as: 222.22.222.222 domain.com would work just fine |
