    permission in Windows 2000

    If I have 2 folder in hardisk. FolderA and FolderB.

    If I have 2 user. How can I set that when User A log in. He see and use only FolderA and when user B log in. He see and use only FolderB.

    Now I can do only user A see both FolderA and FolderB. but user A cann't use Folder B.

    Any help is appreciate

    This can sorta be done using profiles. if you log on as a and drag a folder to the desktop, b shouldnt see it because it should be in a's profile and not b's - the desktop should be user-specific.

    that might work.

    other solution would be to map drives for user a to the area he has access to and dont map the drive for user b and reconnect them at logon. again this is profile related i guess.
