Problems accessing the Wireless Network after upgrading to XP
I have 2 PC's on Win XP, a Linksys Wireless Router, a USB Wireless Adapter, and a Ethernet Card.
1 PC is hardwired to the router and the other via the USB Wireless Adapter. The hardwired PC has no problems accessing the internet. My problem is with the other PC. It was previously running on Win 98SE and I had no problems configuring the adapter to access the shared broadband connection. However, after upgrading to XP (hard drive was formatted and XP clean installed), I am having problems configuring the wireless adapter. I can see the connection icon showing me that I am connected to the wireless network but I cannot see the other PC and I cannot access the internet at all. Pls help. Thanks! ![]() |

Did you try looking at the manual? (The troubleshooting stuff.) Because I know I have a tendancy to skip those and often my questions are anwered there.
