Problems in Internet Printing

According to Microsoft (TechNet), if want to use Internet printering, I have to install IIS. After that, expend the default web server and right click printer then choose properties.

But the point is, after I installed IIS, and expaned the web server, there is NO printers inside it......

What can I do to add the printer back to the IIS or I did something wrongly..??

Please help~!

IIS stands for Internet Information Services, and it's Microsoft's web server. It has nothing to do with printers...

I had the same problem. This is what i did:
Start - Printers
I had one directly connected printer
Properties - Sharing Tab -
option share as
check List in the Directory

That worked for me.

I have 2 probs.
1: From my client computer i accessed printers folder through my browser ie: URL I clicked on the printer then i clicked connect. Add web printer Connection pops up and i click yes. But then a page displays saying:
Printer Installation Failed

You do not have enough privilege to complete the printer installation on the local machine.

How do I allow clients to install printers from my server?

2:From a non-client computer I access the printers folder through web. I followed the same steps as before and recieved the following message:
Printer Installation Failed

The specified Module could not be found

Whats the prob?

I would appreciate any help i can get. Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem and it's most frustrating. Did you find a solution?

Further to the comment above:

"IIS stands for Internet Information Services, and it's Microsoft's web server. It has nothing to do with printers..."
