Processing mail form on W2K

Hi folks,

we have a W2K server running and want to process a mail form into an email. Unfortunately our server doesn´t execute .cgi as cgi, it simply shows the contents of the files.

Although Perl is installed at W:/perl/bin/perl.exe. Does anyone have an idea, what is wrong with this installation or tell us an asp-script that processes forms and uses templates?

Thanks,
freeman

Are you saying that your perl scripts have a .cgi extension and not a .pl extension?

Don't know if this helps but...

I'd check to see if your file extensions are set up correctly.

I'm guessing you installed ActivePerl? Here's the document I sent my server admin to help him get it up and running.

http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Pe...ws/Install.html

Also I was looking for a e-mail application on Windows 2000, and found one called Blat.exe. It's a command-line SMTP e-mail application that works like mail on UNIX. You can find it through shareware.com.

Don't know if that helps at all, but hey saying something is better than nothing!
