red warning at log on!
I have windows XP HOME and it was working fine until a couple days ago. When I start my computer and get to the sign
on screen, I click my name to sign on and a red warning window pops. There is nothing written in it and it just has "yes or no" to click. No matter which one i click it signs into windows and then immediately signs back out right after the background is displayed. I have started in safe-mode to run anti- virus but it found nothing. My AV software is up to date also. CPU 1500 MHz 128mb DDR RAM 40 GIG HD. Any help would be great. Thanks! |

sounds like windows is asking to adjust the size of your pagefile, 128 megs of ram is not enough for xp. it will run on it, but have to strip it down by running in best performance mode and not autostarting anything.

You could run msconfig and see what all is starting up on bootup.
