Hi,
I have winME installed on my PC and was going to install XP onto it. As there is a lot of guff on the computer anyway I was going to do the old fav: "format c". However, I have a partioned hardrive. The question is, if I do reformat the C drive, will I still be able to access the other partition (D drive)? Sorry, this may seem a stupid question, but I have about 30GB of stuff on my D drive that I would like to keep if possible, hopefully not having to burn everything to disk first. Thanks. Jamie

yes if you have a c: and d: partition and your only going to format c: then d: will be fine...
just realize though when you go to install xp you make the right choices for it (to format), you should have to worry about partitioning it though, xp should see the d: partition and just not that you have it.... |
