reInstall Win 98 on Win 2k
I have a dual boot system with win2k pro and win98 ... now i wanna re-install win98 ... how do i keep my system multi-boot after the installation of win98 ... coz win98 will then overwrite mbr.
any suggesitons ?/ btw i have tried to search on the topic but no results ![]() |

What's wrong with it now? If you screwed up the MBR on one disk or the other, just boot with a disk then run fdisk with the "secret" /mbr switch to restore the MBR on the "ruined" drive (seems like messing up the MBR would be the most likely screw-up when messing with installs, that's why I assumed that's the problem):
