Remote backup of EventLog

Hi all.

I was wondering if it is possible to automaticly transfer the event log to another machine through e-mail or some other form of transfer. Preferably on a daily/weekly or monthly basis without user intervention (except the setup ofcourse)

Actually, if there are several ways to transfer, I want to know them all since I am in need of this functions in many places.

My background is in Unix, and there it's easy to set this up, but none I've asked know if this is even possible in Windows 2000... which is to what my question apply to btw 2000 and XP...and to a lesser extent NT4.

Anyway, if this is possible on any of these, please tell me how, or reffer me to a site that can explain this to me... I haven't found one yet.

/Fjodor
