I am trying to find a way to run a command remotely. The host computer is a Windows 2000 Server machine and the client is a FreeBSD box. Can someone tell me if there is a way to do this?
I think that I might have to use rsh, but I am not sure. If so, what do I need to do on the Windows end to make this work? Any help is appreciated.... Thanks in Advance!

One way you could do this is install a telnet server on the windows box and write a shell script in perl or bash that logs into the server via telnet and runs the command.

There are a number of programs and scripts that can accomplish tasks on your server remotely. What is it that you are wanting to do?
