remove program from task manager?
is there a way to remove a process from the task manager list? i know how to disable the task manager completely from the registry but i dont want that. i just want to "hide" a process. btw this is not something i have the source to, so i cant modify that. thanks.

You would have to set the application window´s title to "", but afaik this can not be done from another process.

is this a process or a running program, if a process, they can be stopped from auto starting with msconfig, if you are on 2000, can just use one from xp, matter of fact i will attatch it to this post just in case you want, or need it.

I think the freeware WinTool from http://www.quantrix.net/ might do that. I only tried it in Win98, but it hid the window and the process... It woud have to be used after your program is running.
