Repair?

Hi,

If your having a problem with XP is there a way of repairing it so it checks to make sure all files are as they were? And would this lose any information already on the computer, settings etc?

Thanks

Gazmysta

Start> Run> sfc /scannow

Checks all system files and updates them if they are damaged.
