Running a Batch file to Open Firefox and load a website
I want to create a batch file that will open Firefox and load up a URL in the browser when I logon to my Laptop.
I have created the task which works fine when just loading up Firefox, but when I want to open up the browser and a webpage I get an error message.
I have the following line in my batch file (assuming that the URL following the application path will load - but it doesn't ):
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe http://www.skysports.com"

Have you tried putting start at the front?

Start in front of what, the URL?

I'm not sure you'd be able to write any code for that, but you could install an extension (such as Tabbrowser preferences) and make Firefox open new tabs by default (rather than new windows)

I already have the tabbed extensions installed.
Oh well, its no big deal anyway.
