Send mail being blocked
I have two PCs networked with a Linksys 4-port cable/dsl router. Both PCs operating windows 98. I can receive, but not send emails from Outlook Express unless I connect the PC directly to the HS modem and leave the router out of the loop. With the router tied in, I time out. I have tried the suggestions published in one of the support articles on the Linksys site with no success. Any suggestions would be welcome.
My ISP is Bell Sympatico. |

I had the same problem with with my linksys 4port dsl router. You can fix it 2 ways.
Make your computer the DMZ host (but this exposes your computer to the net) Or you can go to port forwarding, and open port 25 to your ip address. I use dhcp, so I have to open ports 25 to ip's 1-5. |
