sharing drives with users
Hello,
Ive got XP with 2 users and 1 doesnt want the other to see drive H (partition). is it possible in XP PRO as the administrator to restrict access for other users?? and if so how? Thankyou in advance

Yes, you can!
This is one of the advantages of XP Pro vs the "Home" edition. Probably you need to disable this before you can see it: Extras / Folder Options / View (the second tab) / simple sharing (recommended) Now you can set individual permissions for each folder. You have to use ntfs though. ![]()
