I have an static IP and i connect to the internet through a LAN, i tried to share my conection with others computers by using the Net wizard of windows, when i selected the option 'others equipments connect to the internet through this computer' i receive and error message saying me i cant do that. In Win98, i have the same settings for the internet connection, i tried to install the ICS program and i recieve the message 'you dont have hardware installed to share the connection, your network is not complete' I need a cable, dsl, adsl, or phone modem to share the connection? Can any one help me? |

afaik you need to install the "RAS-Adapter" (not sure about the correct name) even if you don´t use it. for w98 you also need the "ics protocol"
and you cannot use the wizard, you need to do the setup manually.
