Angry Stupid..stupid!

I have lost my original XP upgrade disk for a windows machine I want to completely reformat. It was Win 98 on a Dell XPS 700 Machine. I upgraded to Xp registered and it was a legal copy. I have no (&#$# idea where I put the XP disk. Can I reinstall some kind of way by "borrowing" someone else’s and reinstalling using my original cdkey number (which I have off of the computer)?

Mr. Bill has plenty of money and I just absolutely hate to spend another c-note for something I had already purchased....( Yes I am a dumn*ss for loosing it I know )

thank you in advance

Ray

will have to be a disk exactly like yours, a xp upgrade, home or pro which ever you have, also if you had a copy that didnt have sp1 with it, and borrow a copy that does they wont take the older keys.
