Why just pick one browser? I alternate between IE, Firefox and Chrome on a Windows 7 desktop.

I recommend you to keep a copy of both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox as both are different in many ways and content unavailable in one browser maybe accessible in the other.
However you have a huge arsenal of browser at your command.. try to google them

I believe most people have multiple browsers installed on their computers. The most popular and common browsers are: IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari. They all have their advantages over each other, so it comes down to preference (speed, security, skin look, etc.)
I have all these, plus Lunascape - triple engine browser (Tident, Gecko, and Webkit engines) on my machine.
Trying it out.

Now its common and essential to keep more than one browser and the my recommendation is chrome and mozilla minimum. If you work as developer then go for others also.

It's a joke, Netscape has been announced end-of-life for (surprisingly) 3 years now. It effectively died about 10 years ago or so. Just barely hanging onto the threads of a few users who still had it. In its early days it was the browser of choice of many since it was only the second program for view web pages.

My opinion is choose browser as per your profession or usage. For General browsing I recommend you for the Chrome as first preference. For developers Mozilla is the first preference and keep at-least other any two for browser test. Chrome has fast page loading and many extensions are easily available.

See if you want to use for office purpose then I will suggest you Firefox because it has so many interesting and useful add ons which can be useful for your business. And if you want to use for just fun than Chrome is a better option.

Firefox has wide variety of addons and for me it has proven to be most useful and fast. It is just their recent update numbering that has pissed me a bit off
