If you were to remove Windows XP from your computer, you would have no operating system. Is this really what you want to do, or do you want to install another operating system?

Deleting Xp

If the drive has been formatted with the FAT32 filesystem, download a Win98 boot disk from www.bootdisk.com and run fdisk or format.

If it's formatted NTFS you may need to add the utility delpart.exe to delete partitions.

good luck
Tom
