Usb ports dont work in OS
Ok.. So I have this computer that keeps getting to the login page, but usb keyboard and mouse don't work. Initially, I assumed it was my wireless combo... Which was part of the problem. Couldn't even enter bios with wireless. I found corded ones, and still nothing at OS. Assumed all 6 usb ports were bad, then tried bios with corded. I can navigate around bios with keyboard, so its not a usb port issue. Trying a repair install currently, but figured I would ask here for any input.

This computer hadn't been used for about 6 months. Its running xp pro and is an optiplex 320

Nevermind...

Seems the Repair took care of the problem. Probably bad usb drivers or something, but considering there seem to be other errors and problems once logged in, I'm just going to reinstall.
