USB Portversion(Win2k)
Hello All
I am using Windows2000Professional on my AcerTravelmate NoteBook(210 series). I have two usb ports. How can I Know about my usbportversion weather it is usb1.1 or usb2.0 Thank you |

from the manual that came with your notebook. or from acer homepage.
afaik windows uses the same driver for both, so you canīt tell from the software side.

I didn't get any information about usbportversion from the user
manual which i got from the notebook. Just the bellow information is there in manual Universal Serial Bus devices The Universal Serial Bus (USB) port is a high-speed serial bus which allows you to connect and daisy-chain USB peripherals without taking up precious system resources. Common USB devices include the mouse and keyboard. Most USB devices also include a built-in USB port connector which allows you to daisy-chain other USB devices. |

If they donīt say it is USB2.0, it will be 1.1 (1.0?).

most likely you have usb1.1, usb 2.0 has only started to show up in products such as external storage devices.
