Using ISAPI Re-Write
The ISAPI re-write on the Windows server. I have a directory and I was hoping to re-write URLs on the fly.
There are three types that I would like to re-write URLs on the fly.
http://www.example.com/directory/2-Windows.asp - I would like this one to be http://www.example.com/directory/Windows (or http://www.example.com/directory/2-Windows
With this option, the table is called Categories. The 2 is in the Field catID. And the Windows is in the Field CatName.
http://www.example.com/links/3.asp - I would like this to be http://www.example.com/links/IIS-Services
With this option, the table is called Links. The fieldname linkID is 3 and linkName is IIS Services
http://www.example.com/article_view.asp?articleID=5 - I would like this to be
The table is called Articles. The fieldname articleID is 5 and the headline is This is the Article Title.
I know that sometimes the URLs can be written on the fly and was hoping that someone might know what I need to add to the ISAPI rewrite version 3.
If I can maybe at least get one (or two), I'll be OK with that. Thanks!
