Quote: Q. I've uploaded my site, but when I look at it on the web I see 'Directory Listing Denied - This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed. How do I make my website appear?
A. You need to rename the first file that people see when they come to your site (often referred to as the 'home' or 'index' page) one of the following filenames:
- Windows Servers: Use default.asp, default.htm, or index.htm
- Linux Servers: Use index.htm, index.html, or index.php
This is true for any directory on your web space, so for example if you have a sub-directory on your website located at www.yourdomain.com/support/, there will need to be a default file in the /support directory.
Directories such as /images don't need default files, as no-one is likely to need to navigate them, but the contents will be available via a direct link from an HTML file.

That should do it. And just FYI, check google for all error messages before you come ask what it means. There are plenty of support sites that explain error messages. Once you know what the error means, then ask if you don't know how to fix it
Good Luck
Dave
