Win 2k won't let me log in...

Ok, I screwed up royal, I THINK I deleted all my user profiles and then rebooted... now when I start up I get a message that "the network administrator has deleted your profile" and It has Guest written in the login box... obviously my profile stuff is gone... but I can't seem to get around it to try to fix my blunder. I tried safe mode and no dice... I cannot get into any functioning portion of the OS.. I can't even manage an DOS prompt. Anyone have any Ideas?

You can install Windows 2000 Pro on top of itself, not doing a repair, but a reinstall into the same directory tree. It will replace IE, the accounts and the base of 2K, therefore your service packs need to be reinstalled back to 2000 SP3. (And then IE to 5.5SP2)

Should work fine for fixing this and it's quick.

not that this is the situation you have, but alot of laptops and computer get stolen, if this is your computer, contact the manufacturer, and they will be glad to help you, also, you could be someone just wanting to access someone elses files, i will not help anyone in these situations.

well your right, its not mine, its my brother, and he gave it to me. he forgot the password since it had not been used for a while. why be a hypocrite?..."illegal operations while you wait?"
besides i did call fujitsu...they were no help. told me to spend a fortune to send it to them. sounded like a bunch of monkeys working there. thanks though, i'll just try looking for the jumpers on the motherboard.
