Unhappy Win XP Outlook Express 6 identity problem

Yes, Outlook Express does have an identity crisis! And so do I! Whilst my mother was visiting (we won't go there), I wanted to set up an identity in Outlook Express for her. Having typed in her name, my fickle finger clicked on "Do you want to switch to that identity now?" before I set up any properties for her identity. And now Outlook Express won't run. Can anyone tell me how to open Outlook Express 6 under a bogus identity? If I have to delete the program and re-install it won't be the end of the world, just a pain in the arse. Thanks!
