Win Xp User Profiles
I have win xp installed ,not on a domain or network,with 4 users with all having administrator rights.If i log into my user profile it takes about 2 minutes to load this.Also seems to be on each user profile.The total used in all the profiles is about 2 GB.Sometimes logging out the computer takes long tme ,can be sped up by pushing the CD eject button in and out.Virus scan shows nothing and defrag has been done.

slow xp
make sure you have the latest drivers for the hardware on your computer, also, might want to check for spyware, use adaware, or spybot search and destroy, and check to make sure you have sp1 and all the critical updates, and recommended updates, most of the time this is due to a older driver . if not that running spyware is the most likely cause.
