win2k proccess problems :(
I run a business off a windows 2003 Dell Poweredge. and the server has been workn good for a few weeks. But we just restarted it after installing service pack 3 and it worked and its been a week, and one of the girls at the location hit the power on it (dumb girl) and now, it still starts up, but this one particular program that enables me to run my business WILL NOT run in regular users accounts, but it will run twice at once for both the admin accounts we have setup.
any ideas?plus when i restart the server and only one admin logs in and views the processes, why are there 4 winlogon.exe's and 2 apache.exe's and 4 csrss.exe's :-\ any help will be greatly appreciated! ![]() *Note when i put the regular users in the admin group, it started to do the same things it would do in the admin accounts. Service Pack 3 for Windows 2003 already? Check in the services and see how the program starts up.
For the winlogon info: http://forums.devshed.com/t38757/s.html You may want to check out why apache spawned two instances. |

The csrss is what you may need to address:
Not to worry but only to pass on some information: http://translate.google.com/transla...3D%26ie%3DUTF-8 |

Whoa. You have not positively identified this as a virus so do not bring in the big guns yet. You could stop all services and bring them up one by one until you find out which program is starting up which services.
