Windows 2000 server "run localy help needed"

I have a d-link access point with three wired connection DI-713P..
Connected to a cable modem.
I have three PCs wired connected to the router

The router gateway is the default 192.168.0.1
1- Windows XP pro IP assigned 192 .168.0.2
2- Windows XP pro IP assigned 192 .168.0.3
3- Windows 2000 server 192.168.0.10

Now, I want to use domain name (like. URL)
I want to be able to test asp.net, SQL or MySQL, a mail server.
I want to run DNS and AD Locally
I want my other PCs to be member of the domain.

What is the setup I should do for the local IP.
What especial setup I should do for the 2k server so that the DNS will not conflict with the cable company

Thank you,

i dont really like explaining networks, a typo on my part can cause much hair pulling, but try this link
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/networking/
they pretty much explain everything in detail on most all kinds of situations, and can use it for refference better than what i can post.

First thank you for your fast reply

I have been in PracticallyNetworked before they are good but what I want is different

I have been running the D-link network for two years no problem with it (but I was using a workgroup), I can do most of I want link the sql2000 and the asp.net.

Now I think it is the time to do it in a domain.

I like to have my XP logon asking me to join a domain or the regular log on

Anyways typo will not be a big deal

Thank you again for the help and the good link.
