windows error message kernel 32.dll
Can anybody tell me what to do to get rid of this annoying message. "This procedure entry point SMAPLS could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel 32.dll?

Sorry for the lack of info. I'm running windows 2000. I have loaded the critical updates for windows 2000 . I loaded software for an aardvark 24/96 soundcard and when I try to acess the card I get the " this procedure entry point SMAPLS could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel 32.dll" Thanks in advance

have you checked your device manager to make sure the device is fully instsalled, if there are no yellow ! or ? next to anything . might also try and go to start, then run, type dxdiag then run it, test the sound there. do you have on-board sound, and if you do is it disabled in the bios? have you checked the web-site to make sure you have the latest drivers?
