Windows NT 4.0 Service Params
I have the Apache service installed on my WinNT 4.0 box here at work. Unfortunately, I need to pass it the -f option at startup so it reads the correct httpd.conf file instead of the default one. I see the box here where I can provide parameters when I start the service, but how do SAVE those parameters so the service uses them every time it starts up? It's really inconvenient to have to go through the Services panel and manually enter the -f line every time I need to start / restart Apache.
Thanks, Chris |

hmm, that does seem odd. Not sure how comfortable you are about hacking the registry, but it seems to me you may be able to modify the hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\service\apache\imagepath
I haven't tested this, you may want to export the key before attempting |

And get administrator access to my box. We're not allowed to do stuff like that. We might 'break' something. There HAS to be a way to specify that a service start up with parameters.... |
