Windows problems
Most of the problems i see with windows operating sytems here are a combination hardware/software issue. Proper setup is the issue with most problems here starting from the bios, make sure you have the latest version for your board. Then if you dont have the manual for the motherboard go to the manufacturer's site and download it, a little reading will solve alot of issues you might have. Alot of people building thier own computers these days need to know that motherboards have different features like jumpers for some settings, dip switches for others, then in the bios setup it's self there are many thing that dont work well, or at all with default settings or best performance settings (what ever your board uses for that). Also if you bought a new hardware item and it came with a driver on cd doesnt mean it works well either, check the manufacturers site for update/bug-fixes and know issues with other hardware and settings.
It is nice to have web forums to use as a sounding board for problems, i enjoy reading other people's solutions and ideas, just for the fact sometimes they know a better/ easier way. I learn alot of things from the strangest situations. There is no need to argue here, it is just opinions. dont have to take this stuff to heart.
